Weddings are lovely. Celebrating the union of two people in love who solemnly swear to always be there for one another is definitely something to look forward to, as long as we somewhat care about the couple getting married. The thing is that we often don't really care about the couple getting married since we just happen to be acquaintances with them rather than close friends. It would be fine and dandy that they're still inviting us, except for the fact that weddings get pretty darn expensive. If we're being honest, we get invited to way too many weddings that we don't actually care about during peak wedding season, and that sh*t really adds up.
